In-Service Workshops
Big Sky Prevention of
Elder Abuse Program provides eight free educational workshops each year.
Educated and experienced professionals volunteer their time to help
enhance the quality of care provided to our elderly. This education is directed to Licensed
Personal and Foster Care Homes, Personal Assistance and Home Health Agencies, and Assisted Living
facilities. The public is welcome.
All workshops are held at Westpark Village Retirement Center:
2351 Solomon Avenue
Time: 7:00 PM 8:30 p.m., 3rd Tuesday of the month
All workshops are free and open to home health and assisted living staff and family caregivers.
In-service workshops can be
used as credit toward the annual in-service training required by DPHHS for Personal Care Attendants. Certificates are available to
document attendance at the training.
